Petroglyphs were etched in stone at times ranging from 3,000 years ago up until the last few hundred years. Learn the meanings of some of the petroglyphs and ponder the mysteries of others. These sites are sacred and therefore New Mexico Jeep Tours nevers permits the destruction of the sites, or careless actions around them.

This tour is on private property, and access has been granted exclusively to New Mexico Jeep Tours, so the 'art gallery' is not available to the general public.

Those wishing to view these ancient work of art should be in fairly good physical shape, as there will be some climbing up, down and around boulders and some uneven terrain. Also, appropriate footwear is required, with no high heels, and closed toes are a must. Good hiking shoes are recommended.

The petroglyphs can be viewed year-round, but the best time is early Spring, late Fall and Winter.
