A world away just off the beaten path.
Ghost towns cast shadows of the historic past. Ancestral Puebloan ruins and petroglyphs offer a glimpse of life in bygone days. Painted hills and sea life fossils reveal vast changes through the ages. And wild horses wander the dry, winding paths of the high desert. New Mexico Jeep Tours has been given exclusive access to all of this and more on a beautiful 20,000 acre private ranch nestled in the vast, southwest landscape between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The property has also been utilized as a location for a number of movie and television productions, including the Lonesome Dove series, Maze Runner and Lone Survivor and also includes a movie set.
Minimum tour length is 3 hours.
All tours are personal and private (only your group will be on the tour).
All tours include water and snacks.
Time and schedule permitting, tour length can be extended after tour begins.

You will also see a dinosaur fossil from the Cretaceous period and the ranch’s movie set.

Ceremony Rock: ONE HOUR Visit a site where ancient faces seem to emerge from the sandstone and see what may be some of the oldest Spanish rock art in the southwest. (Includes moderate half mile hike with difficult sections over some rocky/loose terrain)

Writings on the Wall: ONE HOUR Explore the volcanic “wall” on which the Ancestral Puebloans carved a vast number of petroglyphs and enjoy the incredible scenery along the way. This hike is moderate with some difficult inclines. The movie set is included in this option.
